OUR STORY
AUDREY ART
Audrey Art is a sophomore at AU who is double majoring in Digital Media and Journalism and Creative Writing. Outside of her classes, she participates in the Second Amendment Club and is a writer for the Collegian. She is from Ontario, Ohio and enjoys playing card games, especially euchre.
CHRIS BEISEL
Chris Beisel is a junior Digital Media Production student at Ashland University, with minors in Journalism and Theatre. Beisel is originally from Austinburg, Ohio. On campus, he is the Program Director and Host of the Early Bird's Word on WRDL 88.9 FM, President of Tau Kappa Epsilon, Alpha Phi Sweetheart, and is also involved with AU TV20, the Collegian, and works in the Schar Cafe. Once upon a time, Chris was sent to the ER when he lodged a piece of Play-Doh into his ear.
ASEEL BONDAGJY
Aseel Bondagjy traveled from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to study at Ashland University. She is a senior Hospitality Management major with a minor in Digital Media Journalism. Aseel is a member of the Saudi Club on campus and writes stories for The Collegian. She enjoys watching Real Madrid soccer.
HALLIE CARRINO
Hallie Carrino is a junior at Ashland who grew up in West Islip, New York. She is an Ashbrook with a Political Science and History major and a minor in Digital Media Journalism. Hallie is a member of Delta Zeta, is an executive in student senate, and works at career services. She also is a reporter for Collegian. She is afraid of sloths.
MATT ERICKSON
Matthew Erickson is a sophomore from Smithville, Ohio. He is a double major in Digital Media Journalism and Religon. On campus Matthew is involved in the Kappa Sigma fraternity, The Well, French Club, and the digital media program. He DJs for 88.9 WRDL and writes for the Collegian. As a fun fact some might find it interesting that he has a junior black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
HALEE HEIRONIMUS
Halee Heironimus is a sophomore at AU who is double majoring in Digital Media Journalism and Sport Communication. Outside of her classes, she is a photographer for The Collegian and a member of Delta Zeta. She is from Medina, Ohio and grew up in Nevada.
ALEXIS ROBERTSON
Alexis Robertson is a sophomore Digital Media Journalism and Political Science double major at Ashland University. An active member of the JDM Department here at Ashland, she is the Design Editor of Collegian. Robertson is also a sister Alpha Phi. This past summer, she hiked 200 miles at Yellowstone in Wyoming.
ASHLEY SANTORE
Ashley Santore is a senior Digital Media Production major at Ashland University with minors in Journalism and Studio Art. Santore comes from Grindstone, Pennsylvania. On campus, she has a familiar face being the Web Editor of the University newspaper, The Collegian as well as her involvement with AU-TV20 and the campus radio station 88.9 WRDL. She has also gained experience as an AU Flight Attendant and after being enrolled in the Disney College Program. Finally, Santore is an active member of the Theta Phi Alpha Sorority and was accpted into Rho Lamnda leadership honorary. On another note, she is terrified of peanut butter.
KATE SIEFERT
Kate Siefert is a freshman at Ashland University where she writes for The Collegian, plays volleyball, and is a member of SAAC. She came from Highland Heights Ohio to majoring in digital media journalism and minor in entrepreneurship and production. A passion outside of journalism for Kate is singing; she occasionally sings the national Anthem at AU sporting events.
